> Stephanie has /

been making films for over eight years. Her short comedy "The Adventures of Slugboy and Super-Challenged Guy", which she Co-Wrote, Co-Produced, and Directed was chosen as one of the top five films of the Ontario Charlie Film Awards in 2002. The film was also given a Best Writing Award of Merit. Also in 2002, a short she Co-Wrote and Directed, "Cyberwho?", was screened on opening night of the Ontario Charlie Awards in 2002, and given an Award of Merit in Directing.

from Ryerson University’s esteemed Film Studies program in 2007, and formed the production company Veracity Films, under which she has Directed, Wrote and Produced a number of shorts, including the documentary "Mommy Bought Me at Blah Blahs?", the quirky story of woman coming to terms with her adoption, as well as the short mockumentary about a newfound disease, "Artistic Affliction". Her documentary "After Hours" explores the essence of Toronto’s controversial after-hours nightclub scene, discussing the drugs, the music, and the wide range of people involved in the scene. Her production "Re-Segregation", which was aired on Current TV in the USA, questions the Toronto District School Board's controversial decision to introduce publicly-funded Africentric schools to the city.

Stephanie has mastered her craft as a versatile Cinematographer and Editor. She worked as Director of Photography on many projects including “A Life”, a feature-length drama about friendship, loss, and faith that was released in May 2008; and the documentary “Survival of the Fabulous”, which explores the evolution of homosexuality. She has also honed her skills shooting and editing over 50 documentary videos for Notable TV and countless more for private and corporate clients, covering a wide array of subjects and styles.
